Re: Saving failure

I'm not an expert and I have little knowledge of what I'm talking about, But I've had a similar problem, and assuming you're using windows: Make sure you've disabled "Hidden File Extensions" by following these 6 simple steps . Again, there's a chance this won't help at all, and if that is ...

Re: var - Missing

This problem seems to have been fixed, as I just turned on my computer with the settings not being reset. I'm not sure what fixed it, but one (maybe relevant) change I've made is that I disabled the Windows option that hides extensions (.exe, .txt, .cfg etc). So yeah, problem is fixed. Thanks all fo...

Re: var - Missing

The user_3_1.cfg file is the user.cfg for 0.3.1. Oh, okay. I guess my var used to have both because I had both a 0.2.8 and a 0.3.0 client installed. If I don't remember it all wrong though, the 0.3 client was affected from changes in the user.cfg too. After starting the game, go to the “About” menu...

Re: var - Missing

If I got it right, user.cfg is automatically created the first time AA is launched on a computer.. and after that, somehow linked to all setting changes in-game. And if user.cfg is deleted, it's re-created the next time AA is run, right? So I'm missing some sort of script or setting that helps re-cr...

fixed:var - Missing

I glanced through the FAQ and Support forum, but couldn't find my answer. Googling didn't bring any luck either. I use Windows XP and play on a 0.3.0 client. So basically my C:\\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Armagetronad\ folder appears to be gone and I don't know how to restore i...

Re: CTF w/ Fortress Physics Tournament #1

Was it CT1 or CT2 that won? =D

We should've won the match vs CT1, but our sub (SurferDood181) who had to step in since SurferDood183's ISP was being an ass, refused to cooperate and was being a jerk to the other attacker. =/ Not much to do about that. gratz CT!

Re: Time based Fortress?

Also freako mentioned about adding the lives left over to the scores, maybe this could be considered. (When you die, the opponents get 2 points, and you lose a life/respawn. Surviving a round with 5 lives (4 respawns) left means the opposing team didn't get the 10p from ur deaths. Adding 1 point fo...
