Exactly the
extra moves bring the fun.
But it´s hard work to get the "wall stickers" off that wall right?
by extra moves i mean 'extra risk' for getting wall stickers off a wall
it is hard, it may look like you will die and this can be said by most of the players, but it is just an illusion for the 'wall sticker' to get him off the wall
when anti180 is ON and delay something around .1, you need less 'extra risk' because your missdirection skills are enough to beat him -> he cant get good speed, he cant run away with DB and delay .001 after your rapid close,
BTW, this provocative style separates the wheat from the chaff, the masters form the beginners, and it assure quick match win when there are more than 6 players on the grid
check this, next time play straight and simple game, when it will look like chatbot fight (credit: spiral

) and you will see that your opponent does nothing to beat you, than you will know that he is a passive player (who gets points most of the time on the outer rim)
anyway at present IMHO shrunkland appears as a good place to learn missdirections
cu on the grid
ps. shrunkland still allows 180
1, 4, 6, 9, 11, 21, 24, 33, 34, 35
