It's a lot of fun! Sometimes I need to hit the fruits 2-3 times to get it (guess it's because of lag).
It would be nice if you could let the zones collapse a little faster. When you hit many zones in a short time, you don't know which is the new one.

I'm using 0.4 on Linux, so I can't watch your recording. Anyway, I think that's probably because I set collapse speed and it may be collapsing down to nothing. Tell me if it doesn't work still, and I'll try to see what's going on. I tried playing, and everything seemed normal. So, not really sure how to test it. So, I set that back in hopes it was the problem for ya, but it wasn't showing as a problem for me.

Yeah, it seems to be fine now.
I thought it might have been that and I ended up downloading armagetronad-experimental-0.4 for windows, and it worked fine on that.
Isn't ideal if it's not gonna work on 0.2.8.3.2 though, I think that's what most players use (could be wrong).

yeyeye it works now. A little feedback: I think you should makes disappear instantly because it can be confusing (you ain't sure if you got it at 1st glance). Also have you thought about adding "temporary random special fruits" with another color that for example reduce the length of the tail or reduce the speed of the cycle or refill the rubber bar? I think it could add some more tricks to the game! With temporary I mean they appear and after a few times they vanish.

That's what I was doing, but it was making it not show up for you guys on 0.2.8 clients. On 0.4 clients, it was going away much, much faster. Maybe we could come up with something fun to add to it, but I don't know what we could do without changing the difficulty. Changing the game too much will eventually mean the scores need reset, or the scores will be easy to beat. I'd prefer the second if either, but now that it's going, I would hate to screw up people's highscores. Maybe I could set up a new server with different ideas and see how it goes. I recently started tracking that info, but it's going to take a little time for the majority to actually have it. Right now, the top scored people would show an average of (their score) per second, or an error since it would divide by a time of 0 seconds. When a majority of it is up to date, I'll show the info.
Also, these stats are already being used to rank you. Those with the same score will rank higher if they took less time, and if you share the same time as well, which is highly unlikely, it will go by who got it first. I may also make a new highscore page on my site because I can show who got the most fruit, who got highest score, who survived the longest, etc. Of course, for surviving, I would make you have so many points per minute or whatever.
