Oh. Alrighty then. I'm good at having novel ideas and then coming to find that they've already been implemented.
It doesn't need to be implemented. It's a nice side effect. :)

Welcome Oscilloscope. It seems if you've played the game a whole lot if you've managed to break down the styles of play like that. It's true, I do see players like, but to me that's fine. I've been playing for ages and ages (coming up on 4 years now :o) and in that time... Well, it's hard to explain, but that's pretty much all there is that you can do with a few exceptions here and there. Or maybe I just can't remember well enough because I don't play the game so often...

Well, I suppose one main point I left out was that I'm just more impressed by players like so-and-so, or who-and-such, or.... But these guys who throw down all kinds of maneuvers, and have variety in their playing. They can get you any which way. I aspire, heh. On the other hand, people who do the same one or two things all the time (and granted, given the type of game it is, there's going to be a limit to the number of things a person can do), just gets kind of tiring. As does doing it myself, bothering with constantly keeping my speed up and zooming as much as possible. That's why, after a match or two, I usually just start fooling around.

But anyhow, I didn't mean to come off too awfully disparaging, and certainly not of the game in general. I'd say it's one of, if not the, best Tron lightcycle games I've played. And I've always dug Tron, so it's cool to be able to "play the movie." Now if only I could play it with the graphics and movie pack turned on, heh!

I doubt its going to take very long untill the two trick pony's are going to get a broader player style. I mean if (even ;))nemo and anum still kick their asses they probably will adapt to it, and (perhaps) go for a more versatile playing style. As in every game the strongest strategies will win. um.. yeah :|

I only do two things:

1. I kill you
2. I crash

Sometimes I do more of 1 than 2, but sadly it seems I do more of 2 than 1 lately.
