What is this? It's blocked in my country and Bill Haley and the Comets never recorded
Blue Moon.
Well it's weird because it doesn't appear in wikipedia but you can try to download it somewhere and try it. Idk if it's trully from Bill Haley but it seems so since I can find it both in youtube and google under the name "Bill Haley Blue Moon"
Already did the Googling before my prior post. My bet is someone misattributed it. Listen to this version:
Blue Moon - The Marcels. I wouldn't be surprised if it's this one. And if so, that's not only
not Bill Haley, it's actually doo-wop, not rock'n'roll.
The second one isn't spanish lol. They wear turbans lol.

Sam the Sham, and half the Pharaohs, were Mexican, like I said.
I couldn't find a song of "Los Teen Tips".
Probably because that was a typo. Should be "Tops."
"Los Blue Caps" is not spanish, more like south american rubbish songs....

They're Mexican, and you know, "spanish" is also a language, not just a nationality. But yeah, I should have looked up their stuff before I posted it. I saw them listed with a few other early Latino/Chicano rock'n'roll groups with whom I was familiar, and so assumed they'd be similar. Nope. And yep, it's pretty awful, though I wouldn't say it's a particularly South American sound, but rather typical of late-60's/early-70's soft rock crap, just with a vaguely "latin" rhythm.
"Los Locos del Ritmo" are not bad, they have some rhythmic songs (that's where the name comes from "ritmo"), but are also not spanish, I'd say mexican.

Mexicans speak spanish, dude. Do you have some sort of resentment toward the people of the former imperial territories?
And "Los Straitjackets"* (not Straightjackets) are also good. I don't know where they are from though.
Easy way to find out, you know:
