Re: help, anyone.
Can you describe in more detail what you're doing and when the error occurs and what it does in full?
Re: killing player0...
Is it "killing player 0" or "killing user 0" ?

Re: killing player0...
isn't that what it says when it kills the bots before the last player leaves the grid?
user 0 == ai's
user 0 == ai's

Re: killing player0...
The server assigns every client a number- [x] when they enter the server and kills it when they leave.kyle wrote:isn't that what it says when it kills the bots before the last player leaves the grid?

After a core dump or a server side message is displayed, such as the match winner, through the server, the number is [0].
So killing user0 would be killing the "server bot" (ai) that runs messages such as core dumps, match winners, etc...?
Just backing up what kyle said, I suppose.
Not sure why this would prevent you from joining the game?
Re: killing player0...
Ah yes, "Killing user 0..." would be a message that is sometimes printed when switching from client to server mode or standalone mode and back. It alone means nothing and is just caused by some sloppy (and harmless) coding, no actual user is getting killed here. It'll be fixed soon. It can't be the actual problem.
Is it that the game FREEZES with that message displayed last? What happens around the time the message is printed is network activity, opening listening channels etc. Sometimes, personal firewalls interfere with this process. So try to run the game in windowed mode, there will probably be a popup window coming from your firewall software asking you whether you want to allow this activity. Do allow it for all time, then you can run the game fullscreen again next time.

I tried but nothing happens. It just stops working. No pop-ups but i will try turning off my firewall for a min and see if it will work but idk if it will.Z-Man wrote:Ah yes, "Killing user 0..." would be a message that is sometimes printed when switching from client to server mode or standalone mode and back. Did I mention this already here? If your personal firewall is something Norton, get rid of it. Entirely. You'll need help from the web for that, even their uninstallers don't work properly.
