adding an extra player per team would mean revival of the old midfield position, might be very interesting.

Assuming all the teams listed become valid teams, so far 2 teams will have to square off at 18:00 GMT

Can someone edit the timetable? We need one more row added to the top.

Done.

Also, I went ahead and added the servers to get a jump on things. I don't anticipate we'll have more than 18 play. Team T.A.O.F is currently invalid due to an unregistered GiD. Can someone check other authorities/forums for this person? On Ladle day, teams 17 and 18 will square off in CT USA for the opening round, then the winner will meet Seed #4 (Speeders).

The wiki code on the bracket was a little botched. I fixed it for now, but we might want to edit '32TeamBracket' for our purposes later - maybe someone with expertise and/or free time can look into that? I have little right now.

Kyle, .randomteam is not really configured to handle over 16 teams, is it? Do we have a solution? It wouldn't be hard to do it the old way I guess.

Is that how our seeding system is set up, with the winning teams in the previous round playing the seeded teams?

I just created a server on a new VPS located in New Jersey (East Coast) and it seems to be stable. Would be nice if this server can be implemented this ladle as a good test for the TST!

P.S. Just tested a little. A player had consistently 15-20 ping...so it is a great server. The lagometers were hardly even visible and it seems legit to me.

I really don't know another way to do it. On a 32 team bracket with 18 teams, 14 teams get a bye in the first round. I guess we could just as easily set it up so the first round winners don't play a seeded team. But which team? And I thought playing an extra round was a disadvantage? I really don't know what to do, and that's why I started working on this now -- so we can figure it out. Let's discuss. :)

Ok, maybe we can use it instead of Ani-2. I'll change that later.

I was under the impression that it is random, so while it is possible that the seeded teams play the teams that played in the round of 32, it is also possible they won't. And IIRC, Kyle's script works with 32 teams.

Of course it should be random.

The way it currently is, teams 15-18 are currently subject to two penalties, playing 1 more round and then if they pass, playing a seed. Why? Because they signed up later.

Very unfair.

The teamnumber assigned doesn't have anything to do with the time a team signed up.

Shouldn't it just be the order of the teams/byes as assigned by .randomteam? The two extra teams may end up playing a seeded team the next round, or they may not.
