GMT doesn't observe Daylight savings Time/Summer Time, which is what you would have found out with a simple google search
6 vs 6 sounds great. Less lag, new tactics, more teams. And the people can find players easily.
But you all are saying rounds will be shorter, and I dont agree. With less players we will have more way to split, less defenders or midfielders, less chances to be killed, and I think rounds will be equally long. And with good players with more space will be longer. And less points for killing people.
I would reduce the score needed to win a match too, if you dont want to do a endless 32 teams ladle.

We said Pooo-key
And yes, smaller teams (of 6) means more total teams, means bigger draw sheet, means more matches throughout the day. The timing of matches won't necessarily be n'sync (LOL!). This means more team leaders and admins have a lot more work to do, and things to be aware of.
Also if the draw holds 32 teams, and for example say there are only 22 teams signed up for, it can get a little messy (or perhaps not...) trying to figure out who gets bye and what-not. Perhaps there should be a strict dead-line to sign up with the minimum # of required players so there is a little bit more time to set up the draw and review it...

There is no right or wrong, we're just testing out different possibilities.compguygene wrote:I officially end my objection to 6v6 here and now. I like it.
As I said, I can be reasoned with.
You guys are right and I am wrong...i like the idea better, lets try it!

Anyways, let's just move on from that discussion; 6v6 it is.
