Can someone help me apply the patch? Im kind of a newbie to all this stuff. I run ubuntu gutsy, and have tried following the instructions on the wiki page, but i can't get it to work, even using root login. I plan to host a new shoot 'em up server, since the FA| Shooting Gallery is gone, and i enjoy the shooting hack. Thanks in advance.

I suggest you first try to build a server without any patch applied and post any errors you get here. After that you can try it with the patch

ok, i got it all up and good (on ubuntu). i used bzr and automake, so its possible (and you dont have to be a huge nerd)
