Thanks a lot guys,

I've added them already.

Supertard: could you check that the right images are linked. There was a few about the recognizer.

Your_mom: Did you also wanted me to link the default skin for the default model of the moviepack???? Confused here. Again check that your entries are correct.

The screenshot should preferably be 500x375 or smaller. I include everything that size, but I only link to the other bigger images.

I've check the list, I had already the 2 other images, but it wasnt clear what the links where for. Now it is corrected.

well i wasnt sure how you were going to get a screenshot of the moviepack bike in 3ds format. I guess we can just leave that without a screenshot, I guess i'll leave the original skin up in my post in case anyone edits the 3ds max format bike and needs a skin to start off with.

Screenshots of mom's new wall texture

Post by Lucifer »

Here they are.

I died taking most of these shots. ;) It's the only way to get good ones, eh? Also, you'll see my custom bike texture and my grid wall texture. The bike texture (which I haven't posted yet) is pretty generic, but I like it. The grid wall is the Cliffs of Insanity, from the Princess Bride. I like the look of cliffs on the grid wall, so I'm on the lookout for good cliff shots I can put on the grid wall, preferably something that'll fade well into a good sky texture.

The walls here are clearly defined.

Hmm, ran out of attachments for one post, so here's another post.

Here you can see the alpha again, and you can see how you can estimate distances between two walls.

Lucky timing, this one has a wall right before it drops. You can see it all white, about to sink into the floor. Looks sharp!

Obviously I didn't survive this shot.

Hi Lucifer

I was on my way to add your screenshots for the audio trace, but I have a question and a problem:
Question: What audio trace did you use for the screenshots?
Problem: The screenshots are not properly sized. Can you resize them to max 500 x 375 pixels (its a maximum, the previous comment from SuPeRTaRD was on a bad cut and paste from my part.)?

Thanks

I used the white trace from your_mom a couple of posts up. He posted two, one was white while the other was gray. The white one worked better.

Um, as to proper size, sorry. Unless you happen to have a script that'll resize them en masse for me..... ;)

Ok, the screenshot are associated with the proper trace in the mod list.

Sorry, I do not have any script for it.

In your screenshot you use the "Cliffs of Insanity", from the Princess Bride. Is it something you plan to release or are your assembling for a Hell moviepack in secret and had a slip?

PLaying is more like it. :) I would like to have a Hell moviepack, but I want a new binary of armagetron without the blue floor bug in the moviepacks before I'm ready to take such a thing seriously. And yes, if I do a Hell moviepack, it'll have some sort of cliffs on the grid wall. Not the Cliffs of Insanity, the mist kinda screws it up, and there's a few other problems (how it tiles and how it blends with the sky, most noteably).

I have, however, a good shot from Return of the Jedi, as well as the Cliffs of Insanity if anybody's interested in them. I think a good shot from the trench of the Death Star would be cool, as well as a good shot of the outside of the Red Dwarf. But who am I to say? I thought the Cliffs of Insanity would be cool and they didn't quite work out. Hmmm, come to think of it, a good shot of the warp coil from STTNG would be pretty cool too.

when i get bored... you guys get more skins.

Tis time i decided to add flames to the...dramatic pause... original bike model. made custom wheel skin to although they arn't that great they were the best of the 5 attempts i made somehow i guess the wheels and fire just didnt mix. i made one wth flames coming from the outside in but it looked horrible. Well this set doesnt look great but it looks pretty cool when its actually rotating in game. Well enjoy... hmm i wonder if anybody ever uses my skins...

edited becuse 3 posts in a row would be a waste of my atachment potential lol

SO yeah luci gave me a slight jesture that he wanted an egg bike and after a few minutes of playing around i came up with this design wasnt quite sure exactly what luci envisioned if he doesnt like it i can just make something different oh and i still had the flared wheels on during the screenshot .... another thing i relized is how much the skin gets stretched, i had to mess with the size of the egg and i still see imperfections but the kind of imperfections you would only notice if you read this comment soo umm yeah ignore that last bit or something ...

Enjoy my skills of an artist
