Oh, I shut it down once I got it working, but I guess it'd be good to check if other people can connect, it's running now if you want to try it again.

Yes, but I would like it if someone else could test it so that I can see if the problem is something with the game on my computer.

[edit] Nvm, I fixed it. I forgot to open port 4534 after I changed it from 50 000

Oh well, I already changed the port. I think it might be working, but I'm not sure, and don't have anyone online who could test it for me, could someone here see if they can connect to it? 67.193.96.160:4534 It works when I connect as localhost, or with my internal ip, but not when I try to connect ...

Alright, it's now binding to port 50 000, but when I go to the game and connect, it wont let me select a port higher that 4540, do I have to use a port lower than that?

And I don't want my server to show up on the list, I just want it to be to connectible to people outside my lan.

Running dedicated server behind a router & on different

Okay, I have my server pretty much set up, but what I need to do now is allow people outside my lan to connect. I have had the port 50 000 redirected to my computer, so now I need to change the port the server runs on, and allow people to connect from outside my lan (if it isn't like this by default...

Can't find config files for dedicated servers

I'm trying to set up a dedicated server on a linux machine. The wiki says that the config files should be in ~/.armagetron-dedicated, but all that is in there are some logs. Do I have to run some command to create the files first, or what?

setting up dedicated server

i just downloaded and installed dedicated server, and i was wondering how to set ti up, all it is is 'unnamed server' in the LAN games.
I'm on SuSE linux (used the RPM download) so wheres the configuration file for it? all i could find was an executable in /usr/local/bin :(
