I say no because I wont be able to play on it because I'm on Mac. Also no because other people that like Tigers Network servers will be sad and angry because that is the server they like the most.

Tank, please dont, its fine as it is, maybe when its for Mac you can. If you do then I wont be able to play on Team Play any more and there are no other good team servers :( :cry:

zapple it shouldnt effect you 0.2.7.0 is compatible with 0.2.6.0 client right tank ?

Bingo. Tigers Network isn't even running 0.2.6.0 right now. It is running a version I modified...

What will upgrading to the new version do?

Just wondering about the reasons behind doing it, and if there are any benifits that will come from it.

There are definetely excellent client version changes, but not too, too much for server side changes. Mainly better spam protection really...

tank has some kick ass stuff goign on the version he modified, and I think it's been incorporated into the server version of 2.7 ...you can't hit a hotkey more than once, automatically dropped for spamming, really good work tank...makes the game so much mroe enjoyable..

course that prolly doesn't make speedracer too happy :)
