I didn't look around before posting, I was thinking this was specific to the Armagoshdarn server.

Very nice site! Great looking and informative. Congrats.

I did notice that when clicking on some users names that no information could be found. I'm sure it's probably just a slight spelling or case-sensitive issue, and they're in the database somewhere, heh.

I'll be going back to your site again for more visits. :D

Yeah, I noticed that too. I need to get color codes for some names I think, others are probably slight typos on my part but until I see them in a game or get an email, I am just guessing. Got 100 names now and added flash/no flash option. Also put the scores at the top realizing that is what most people would probably want to see first. It's a simple page meant to load fast. I'll be looking into tying other servers into pages too, once all names are correct on my page, I should be able use most search dB's and spin off dupes easily.

yes, it's a nice site, and i have to say that's a very beautifully rendered bike in your avatar locutus, or is it a model?

thanks for the compliment node, your site rox 2. I wanna turn your flamebot into a Flash file at some point if you'd like. As far as the image of the bike goes, I just googled a search for tron images and found it. I have uploaded all the images I found to this folder:

http://randypalmer.com/tron/pubimages

The one I used is lightcycle2.jpg and then adjusted the colors to better match my game bike color. I am goign to change it at some point or at least edit it some more to be more original. Like add my name or pic or something. I get great ideas from your guys avatar's and the ideas are starting to flow. Your avatars are all pretty cool too. Maybe someone could provide me with a nice screen capture with a movie pack in place for a backdrop? I can do the rest, just have trouble with moviepacks on my glorified toaster. All my images in game (except wall) are pretty much default to keep overhead down to a minmum.

I'm better with collages, color manipulation-fusing images, like that. This 3D stuff out of flash is a mystery to me but it is very cool stuff.

Here's a new avatar image. It'll probably change a 100 times b4 I'm happy, I'm anal like that with my work. Can't go to sleep if a pixel is out of place or if there is room for improvement, and there is always room...

When linking to your site, should this address (http://randypalmer.com/tron) be used instead of http://tron.filetap.com/? Is one more up to date, or are they simply mirrors?

As an aside, your current avatar is sweeeet...

As far as the url goes, its just a free domain name that points to a folder on my site. Shortul.com is a great resource.

And node, that was the 7th version, just not completely happy with the other 6, not even happy with this one. I want to find the best bike image I can lay may hands on and make it not look like itself. May use the image from Tron 2.0, I love those new, long bikes.

Has anyone ever tried making a bike texture that makes it look like a person on a cafe racer? I think this would be cool when playing with friends.

Thanks for the clarification. Your info on shorturl.com couldn't have come at a better time, as I was just about to upload a site I had been working on last week and wasn't looking forward to passing out the long ass url that my isp provides.
