did you know that armagetron has a built in lag button ! :o

press tab so you can see your ping
then keep tapping 'R' and watch your ping rise higher and higher and higher lol

got mine past 1300 ! lmao

not bothered looking at the program yet to see exactly what it does, just been having fun

hmm, well i tried with no result just now. OTOH, i did find that after playing at bombing's server and doing a 180 into a 180 i was able to disable acceleration on my bike for the remainder of that game. that was a new one on me...

r is for reloading textures, if ya press it all your system power is being used to reload the textures. if ya do that repeatedly your ping rises

i started this thread way back in may ! and im sure i asked tank to delete it oh well

i think that the high lag only effects the clients machine (but i could be wrong)

Hey ice i once read what kind of computer you have on the forums and i looked it up on the internet somewhere and the processor you have is actually around mine (amd k6 450 / celeron 466). The main difference between our systems is that i got a gforce 2gts in it which i bought for like 15 euros and i get around 40 fps with it in local games. So if you have the money you can buy something like that and maybe improve your gaming experience..

or not of course :|
