music: yes or no?

Does anyone find listening to music helps them play better?

I personally don't listen to music, but if i did i would probably listen to metallica or some kind of angry music, i just don't see how this makes such a difference for some ppl

yeah ive read it before but i don't remember anyone really explaining why music helps them
but i wonder if we could somehow turn off the tron sounds and make polka music play, if ppl actually listening to that would play horrible

yeah, but we would also need to but in some kind of code that would not allow someone to turn down their volume or mute the sound, which would be really hard to do and they could always get out of it by disconnecting their speakers

still even the seeing what would happen the first time ppl would hear it would almost make it more than worth it

plus if it did create a lot of animosity i could just get a new name and start over from scratch, pretending that i didn't know anyone

Bring it on! Polka is kinn to Ska and Mariachi music. And I love Ska. "It gets my blood a boilin" Ya ever heard of the "Happy Schnapps Polka Band" out of wisconsin, Good times. It helps if your under the table drunk.

I listen to rammstien while playing to get me in the mood for killing at a fast pace with fingers thumping to beat...

I listen to classical when driving my truck so I won't kill anyone cause they are all freakin idiots (sqoou e>|e).

polka is some of the best music ever. right up there with andean folk, irish folk-rock, ragtime jazz, old-timey & blue-grass... you know, your basic top music.

actually i remember an earlier version of army (first .2 beta?) that had a default MP3 folder. i think i placed some tron tunes in there and they played, but all garbled up. and gltron had something like this, if i recall correctly.
