Help me decide my new "official" 'tron name! Oscilloscope is nearly a year old, and I'm tired of it. I guess I've narrowed it down to these four, mainly because I don't think putting any more thought into it is warranted.
Hmm, it may be time for a new sig as well.

There we go, I vote for SDK / Slamdek and declare it as the "I don't give a shit" option.
Or, translation: Name changes "because the old name is almost a year old" are pointless anyways. Luckily I'm usually on servers that have maps/zones/shots/rubber and don't have to deal with it.

SDK/Slamdek seems weird
PhytoTron seems like we're playing some kind of Transformers game, like you're a superhero. It's a bike! It's a user! no it's... PhytoTron! But a hero out of megaman, you know?
The last one was just strange. Don't even remember what it was. The voting seems pretty close though.

SDK is/was the catalogue code for Slamdek. The name wouldn't be "SDK/Slamdek." It would be one of the two.

Variegated, another term often associated with phytology (i.e., botany), means varying in color. Since I often change color during game so I'm not what someone else is—well, you get it.

variegated is just too complicated for a game as simple as this one. Then again your play style is pretty complicated too, which is part why i think oscilloscope just seemed to fit better than any of the various other names.

Nah, I would use either Slamdek or SDK; hadn't decided on which yet. Slamdek, with no one knowing what it actually was, probably sounds too mookish/aggressive, though. Slam!
PhytoTron is more for the play on words. Phyto- being a prefix for plants (vegetarian) and -tron being, well, Tron. Not transformers -- Tron. The homophone to "fight-o-tron" didn't even occur to me. Hmm, back to the mook/aggression thing that I want to avoid.
