Short answer: Rename yourself to admin and set your color to red.

Long answer (actually shorter): search the wiki for it.

i trye the /login thing on that link that you gave iceman but when i try it it don't do anything. i have my password. after /login for example of the password was smile i would put /loging smile right? and another thing can i set this password through the armagetron dedicated server program? with admin_pass smile?

dylan.. the microbuscity and XzL servers have custom-made
admin consoles, that use putty to run... that's what makes it
possible in them for the admin to talk.. not sure about other
servers though.

In 0.2.8, you do this:

/admin SAY Thank you for helping us setup our server. I didn't mean to act like an ingratious bastard, I really do appreciate the help.
