And I have been calling for a fork for awhile now. Do it. Quit asking for it to be done, YOU do it, sinewav. Take the lead. Do something other than whine. You know, like you always say...

Absolutely not blind to sexism, but there is a better way to go about handling it. A more measured, ninja-like approach would do the job better. When you see sexism, snip out the offending material with a comment (as in "removed sexist language") and PM the offender with a warning, pointing out the policy. If they want to push you on it, go ahead an give them a time-out, but don't drag on for pages and pages about it. When a small and quickly shrinking community such as this one sees a project developer erupting all over the forums it creates a lot of frowns.

Let me put it to you like this: In my view, he was warned. Hell, I just tried to talk to him in IRC.

Besides that, right now Z-man, Tank Program, and I are engaged in a conversation about it. It may take some time to wrap up, and I don't have any idea where it's going to end.

Harping about it now is counterproductive.

I want to make it clear that I feel I didn't get any warning at all. It was quite sudden. From my perspective, it seemed as though Lucifer wanted to have his say and ban me to end the conversation (alleviating me of my ability to ask what I even did wrong; from being in the middle of a post, to being logged out and banned, no explanation was given other than the ban reason "being a sexist ass")

When you say you "stand your ground", does this mean you remove the possibility that you might have made a mistake? (something everyone does from time to time - if you can at least agree to that)
If Sinewav could end up in your position, I nominate him for it. Sinewav has shown an ability to be unbiased and sensible that (IMO) surpasses your own. #sinewav4mod
One clear example, is how Sinewav isn't making posts like this:
