CGI fun

Post by Jonathan »

I was playing a bit with CGI and came up with a program that draws a bunch of random line segments and outputs a PNG. :) It is reachable over the internet, but I don't feel comfortable with spreading my IP, so I'll upload one result.

Would be useful for map previews by the server via a POST form.

They're simply antialiased line segments, nothing special.

How about double-AAing? I need a parser first though. ;)

What kind of traffic can you expect when posting here? (doesn't mean I'm going to do it)

I've never measured it. I don't think it's a whole lot tho.

I decided to give it a try! :D

Edit: I could have used an alpha channel, but AFAIK blending is usually done in screen gamma which is (relatively) ugly.

Load is very acceptable. I don't even notice while playing AA.

Sab, if you read this thread: No complaints about correct lighting?
