Please consider a hypothetical 1 hour league match, on Saturdays, when voting.
thanks
Competition Time Poll, pt 2

Re: Competition Time Poll, pt 2
Not to be awkward or anything, but I voted the opposite way on this than I did the other.
I don't know about most people, but I personally don't feel like giving up both my weekend days every weekend (we train on Sundays) for tron. As there are generally some Sundays available each month, couldn't those be used instead? People are mostly available at ladle time...
Perhaps this says more about my lack of commitment though.

I voted the same as the other, because it's too late. I don't like the sound of possibly isolating EU players out. Since most of our players are split between NA and EU (I imagine there are more NA/Western Hemisphere, but that might be because of when I play). The easiest thing to do would move it to a time between the two where it can best accommodate a majority of the people who plan to play in it. If that fails, then try an open Sunday, unless you're planning this weekly then I'd say put it between the two times suggested.

answer the poll question please, do not vote whether you think a certain time is a good idea, the poll will show that itself. If you vote based on other's availability, which you just cited as an explanation of your vote, the poll loses its meaning.

Re: Competition Time Poll, pt 2
Not mentioning the fact I work often, and that also messes my schedules up and its difficult for me to judge whether I can be there, so most times I won't, especially when I have more pressing needs than arranging my entire schedule around tron. Nights and late afternoons are generally bad for me.Concord wrote:answer the poll question please, do not vote whether you think a certain time is a good idea, the poll will show that itself. And also, would I want to compete then? No, because I wouldn't get the fullest experience and the best opponents all around. Would I if I had to and could? Probably, but it's not what I want; which is what you're asking.

Re: Competition Time Poll, pt 2
all you had to do was not not mention that instead of citing the reason you did.
why do you seem so offended?

Re: Competition Time Poll, pt 2
Previous poll I mentioned I had work, this time I told you why I wouldn't want to play it and you said not to consider other people's availability. I'm not really offended, I just don't see how you thought that considering other people isn't also a factor towards determining if you want to play in something. Again, the poll says if you'd want too, not if you would.Concord wrote:all you had to do was not not mention that instead of citing the reason you did.

I was just responding to your comment to defend my reasoning; this one I'm responding to your question. Are there any problems with this?
