Map building
Can anyone help me write some maps that use some of the same principles as bugfarm? They would also need to be compatible with CVS, which I can't make head nor tail of

Re: Map building
Your post is very vague. Bugfarm was a series of servers run mostly by Z-Man to iron out bugs in the game, and CVS is something we haven't used in a long while(we now use bzr and a little svn). Do you mean the last config that series of servers ran? Team sumo with a tournament every hour? He published the scripts he used here: https://code.launchpad.net/~z-man/armag ... rm-scripts

Re: Map building
Ty both, I am looking into the tools now.
Epsy: I meant bugfarm fortress. Much in the same way CTWF is influenced by BF
Also, how do I port the bzr code onto a windows server machine? Bear in mind I have little storage space, so cygwin is out of the question. I've been told about this before, but I have no idea how or on what basis it works

Re: Map building
The CTWF/bugfarm relation is more or less the general server settings where based on the bugfarm fortress settings from a long time ago.

Re: Map building
If it's Bugfarm Fortress that you want, will do.
Code: Select all
INCLUDE examples/cvs_test/fortress_complete.cfg

Re: Map building
no, I'm intending to build a couple of maps on rotation, a little like ctwf but with a very different scoring system, and different ways of winning. However, I can't seem to get on my servers when I run ubuntu on them, I get issues with the access keys, so I am stuck with windows server. Hence, I need a way of building maps that are compatible, or somehow getting this svn branch running, which I still get stuck on. It also doesn't help that my router is on the blink...
