Disabling Authentication in Mega Fortress to play
Alright so here it is as i said i hope you guys vote for it and we will see what comes out of it .
Just so we are clear if we open it ultimately expect that more drama and aliases and you surely remember the old stories all i hope is that we could be good with the newbies .

There are still aliases. People who want to cause trouble simply sign up a new account somewhere and play with hidden GiDs. And I don't know that this has to be a yes or know question, and maybe is a terrible choice for a poll. I mean, if you can't make up your mind, don't vote. I personally think lowering access level play and giving a privilege to auth'ed players is the best choice.

abstaining is a necessary option for democracy, so I have no problem with the maybe option (which I read as practically abstaining).

Not voting at all would be abstaining; there's no use for a "practically." A "maybe" wouldn't exist on a ballot referendum. A "maybe" would, at best, compare to something like a moratorium or tabling of a motion (in the US sense; in the UK it means the opposite), and maybe that's what he meant.
Needless to say, this point is very important. Let's get a few pages going on it.

As someone who is very new to the fortress stage making yourself login didn't stop me from using an alias...I just created logged in with my @ct which I have a different name for that I used when I was a noob. But I think you should stop the requirement that you must login to play. I have no clue what drama you are talking about since I am new to fortress but I think that the requirement that you must login to play is stopping a lot of people from joining fort...I know it stopped me In the past.

Ya psy its going to be implemented soon with few changes me and other admins are discussing them but as far as your worries about authentication it will be done soon .

I like authentication for stats tracking. Will you still be able to log in for that purpose?

yes you will still be able to login, it just won't be forced

I wouldn't mind if unauthenticated players could join. Perhaps add some benefits for authenticated players, such as being able to /shuffle?
