How to make rubber go up slower
How to make rubber go up slower
I have seen many servers with only 17 rubber and the rubber bar goes up slower. Can you guys tell me what command makes the rubber increas slower wihtout adding any rubber? 1 more question how do you make rubber decrease Faster? Please help
Re: How to make rubber go up slower
Without changing other game parameters, you can't make the rubber increase slower when it is used up. The server probably just has slower speeds.
Rubber decreases (regenerates) faster if you decrease CYCLE_RUBBER_TIME.
Rubber decreases (regenerates) faster if you decrease CYCLE_RUBBER_TIME.

He could be referring to the effect of _TIMEBASED.
Re: How to make rubber go up slower
Possibly, but that also doesn't allow to slow down the rubber increase any way you like, it just changes its dependence on the cycle speed.
Edit: hah, hax for cycle_delay > 0:
Of course, the net effect is the same as just increasing the total rubber, so I don't see the point.

Code: Select all
cycle_rubber_delay 1E+15

Right, I'm saying it could be his perception. Those absurdly high rubber servers tend to be high speed as well. Going at a high speed with _TIMEBASED 1, rubber is consumed at a slower rate than even a slower server with _TIMEBASED 0. And, of course, in the occasional servers with _TIMEBASED >1, faster one goes, slower rubber is consumed. So, could be his perception compared to, say, a sumo or fortress server or something.Z-Man wrote:Possibly, but that also doesn't allow to slow down the rubber increase any way you like, it just changes its dependence on the cycle speed.
