2.7.1 isn't working properly

I have been playing 2.6 and everything is fine, but once I got 2.7.1 or 2.7.0 I can't add any AI players to my local games. I am stuck riding around alone. I can change every other option but adding AI players, or changin minimum players. Both those options are stuck at 0. Is there sometighng I am missing?

Let me guess, you are on Mac OS X? You are missing a file called aiplayers.cfg. To get AI to work correctly:

1) Control-click or right click on the Armagetron application and choose "Show package contents".

2) Navigate to Contents/Resources/config. Rename aiplayers.cfg.in to aiplayers.cfg.

I will update the application on sourceforge to include this fix.

Yes I am on Mac OS X sorry should have posted it.

I downloaded the 2.8 beta and it works fine, so I am going to stick with that. Thanks for ther fix though. And timely response.
