Cheat menu?

Hey Lucifer,
I was reading through some of these forums and saw that you had written instructions on how to access the "cheat" menu for Armagetron Advanced. Could you please tell me those instructions- if you were willing to post it then- why not tell me now... I only want to know so I can play around with my local server as admin. Otherwise I would have to deal with 24/7 death using the settings I'm thinking of...[lol] I promise not to tell ANYONE- I am an honest person (though not perfect- no-one is) and I don't break my promises.

No, it wasn't syllabear. I actually first suspected it was another of fixit's fake accounts trying to prank me, but decided it was too well-written to be him (heh).

In follow up to this, I wanted to point out that you can access the cheats menu by doing these two simple things:

First, while in game, type:

Actual instructions removed from post.

You should be able to access the cheat menu then with all the good stuff, like being able to pass through walls, and stuff. There's a nice menu there with lots of choices, you'll have to pick which ones are appropriate to the server.

Sorry for violating forum policies, but ****, Lucifer, you know that this is supposed to be a developer secret. Do you know how difficult it was to hide that so that nobody would find it in the source code?

Well- after joining, I was browsing through the STRATEGIES page since im sort-of new. (I've been playing, but i joined the forums so i could ask for help). Plus it's not my fault Lucifer posted that there... I was wondering because -though I know some console commands from the wiki page- Lucifer said MENU... which is why I asked! You can't activate a hack to go through walls and such using the console (at least- not that im aware of) AND the console is NOT a menu!

There was a console command in there, because you need that to activate the cheat menu. Maybe I'll go digging through the source again, now I'm curious.

YES- exactly that!! What's the console command- that infinite rubber would be VERY useful for testing purposes... Is it restricted for local games only? (That would be a good idea :S) If you don't want to tell the world- you can pm me... *Hint hint* Thank you Tank program!!

just set CYCLE_RUBBER 99999999, it's pretty much the same
