Re: Tron: Fortress
All those are wrong/bad on so many levels, I'm sure none of you are surprised to read from me. But, I guess if Disney itself can ruin Tron, there's no reason this stuff shouldn't go right ahead. And maybe it'll get people to shut up about (further) adding shooting and crap to Arma (which never should've been added in the first place)?
Re: Tron: Fortress
What do you mean, Phytotron? I assume you are aware that TF2 is completely independent from Tron... It's just a rag tag theme thrown together by editing files; the game itself has nothing to do with Tron.

Re: Tron: Fortress
I don't get what's supposed to be so bad about them either. It's fans of Properties X and Y mashing them together. The TF2 stuff looks especially neat. That's what the game would look like (minus the silly trails) in the world of Tron.
Re: Tron: Fortress
I am, I do not understand why you think it's so wrong (from the looks of it, Z-man doesn't either).Phytotron wrote:Are you serious?Lord Pein wrote:What do you mean, Phytotron? Re: Tron: Fortress
But that wasn't the subject of your comment. You didn't express a query as to why I thought it was wrong/bad, as Z-Man did. Your comment was a typical display of your poor reading comprehension skills, inexplicably mistaking my comment as my not understanding that the games are substantively independent of Tron and that those are just skins. "Are you serious?" 1) You really think I don't get that? 2) Sarcasm, e.g., "no way!" at something obvious. It's gotten quite old having to explain things to you like you're a little kid. I don't know how you got through high school. (Well, NCLB may have something to do with it.) I really don't know how you're going to function once you get out into the real world. Maybe you won't. Maybe that's why you want to get into programming, so you can remain permanently plugged into your computer and the web and not have to interact with normal society.
Really—shotguns, machine guns, grenades and shit? Maybe if it was restricted to discs and those jai alai things, it would fit and wouldn't be such an ugly bastardisation.Z-Man wrote:That's what the game would look like (minus the silly trails) in the world of Tron.
Re: Tron: Fortress
Seriously? You're complaining about a fan-made theme for TF2 ruining the true essence of Tron? Jeez.
