There's been some talk lately, about the so-called "dying-art" of dogfight, where it seems everything is turning to loose, with tight becoming a lost style of play. I know some members of Rd clan have brought this up, but I decided to make a topic here, primarily, looking to see if anyone would be interested in hosting a tight dogfight server.
Secondly, I was wondering if anyone remembers who used to host the server called "D.O.G.F.I.G.H.T." (the five minute battle where anything goes, with infinite respawns), and if so, whether or not anyone was interested in bringing that server back.

my advice to you is that you don't come up with DF disscusions in this forum, everybody and I mean everybody that posts here daily are fort-sumo players and most of them find DF (open gameplay, trapping) stupid so really you won't get any positive vibes about this topic here

That server was actually a slightly altered archived version of Habitat's Dog Fight Server with Minefield Settings. The server named D.O.G.F.I.G.H.T. was owned and hosted by Manta.
Transitioning from High Rubber, this was one of the first forays into what is now known as Loose Dogfight.
