Mobile Spectate Option

I was thinking instead of just being able to select one cycle at a time to watch [while spectating/while you're dead], you can have the option to be viewing from a "helicopter" view, where you can control what section you are looking at, how "high/far away" you're looking from, etc.
I've been thinking about this idea for quite some time now, but until now I haven't cared to post about it. A few things though: Has this already been done/tried? If it has, I apologize in advance to the person(s) involved.

Summary: instead of watching 1 cycle at a time, you are able to "move" around and watch where ever you want.

Yes, use either free or external camera (I forget which one), and there are controls you can set to control the camera.
