Arma Forums Warning Levels

Post by apparition »

Maybe we should get some explanations to these warning levels I've read about. How/why does one's warning level become increased? What does it mean? Is there a way to block people with Warning Level 1+?

There's no such thing :) It's just something noob_saibot made up after he was warned, once. We don't work on levels. We have no "three warnings and you're banned" rule, that would be silly. Depending on what someone did, he may be banned without warning (a treatment usually reserved to spambots), after one, two, three, or 17 formal warnings. Bans are so rare, making fixed rules for them is just not worth it.

Hey Man, I just questioned my warning level. I didn't make up a novel about the theory behind it. And since then my [+1] has disappeared woop woop!

That was part of my theory too. But Phytotron still has several weeks until his hits 0.

And I'm going to pull a Phytotron and correct you by assuming you meant *zoinks!* the sound scooby doo makes, not *zoids!*

I really think that we need a good sumeraton level (it is only fitting in our extremely soft society).

Anyways I nominate Kyle and durka for their past ladle setup help.

Samaritan. (Don't even try passing that off as a typo.)

Maybe he just confused a Samaritan (from the mountainous region south of Israel, 800 BC) with Sumerian (Mesopotamia, 5000 BC)? I know I sometimes get my ancient cultures mixed up...

On a more pragmatic level, I didn't get what he meant. That's not how you get a point across.
