How do you define 'the best player'?

I think it would be more interesting to interview random players, both competitors and others, so you get a better sight on the communities view towards the ladle.

Yeah, it's not always obvious who the MVP is, unless you've seen all the previous matches. I think "best" player is the one who makes the greatest number of jaw-dropping plays or brilliant coaching decisions (we all have player/coaches except for compguygene, who rarely plays Ladle). And the MVP isn't always on the winning team. I remember in L-31 I lauded Titanoboa as the MVP for his amazing performance in Notorious Emoticons, but it was Speeders who took the day (this was also the Ladle where Titan left a 2v2 zone and thus branded that action as "doing a Titan" :P)

But orion, there is nothing stopping you from choosing "Orion's MVP" and interviewing that person. Everyone will understand it's an editorial piece, just like Concord's "Power Rankings." I really think it's a fun idea, but you need to do it immediately after Ladle*.

*This sort of thing should be posted on PlayFortress I think. Maybe just wait until Concord gets back (next month?) and ask him?

Then wouldn't we be interviewing FoFo all the time?

Maybe not only interview the "best" player, or the mvp, but interview one or two random other players as well.

Erm, I guess? Not much to say about fortress tbh, but its an okay idea. Let someone who speaks proper English do the interview though.

there are some good examples for interviewers with a cool accent :)

Maybe you could write the questions down and we could prepare some answers, then it wouldn't matter if the interviewer has a strange accent - you can all edit it using audacity :P
