Also can we please make sure that games are not restarted when a team is 2 rounds away from winning their first game and then the other team saying it hasn't started and then getting the game restarted. Thanks.

I'm sure Luke-jr could supply some Ladle servers for a small fee. Should we take a collection for a year's hosting of x-number of servers? How many do we need? After we determine that, we can ask him for a price.

Yes. When you have a team of 2 and that team starts a new match the match has started. Lying to the server owner saying that the match hasn't started because your losing badly (80-20) is no excuse.

Every tournament.. every game.. there is a complaint about SOMETHING not being right on compguygenes servers. I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but agreed with Spook.

Issues with TSP servers

Post by Rudycantfail »

Today in the ladle WW lost to CTb on the account of a garbage server. First match the server just stopped midgame and crashed everyone into the wall, CTb luckily had a player that survived longer then the rest and got a free 8 point lead on us. We then lost the match 92-92 on the 10th round. (CTb refused to replay the match even though they clearly won because of the server crash).

In match two we were up 32-14 in the second round, same thing happened again, this time the crash lasted several rounds, in which i along with other players on the WW team stopped playing at all, because we couldn't see anything. When we resumed the score was 52-50 for CTb, in which they insisted that we keep on playing on the terms that everyone had equal lag.

Anyways, the main issue here isn't that WW lost in the first round (or the way CTb behaved), it's that the TSP server we played in was complete junk.
This isn't the first time I have had problems with the servers in competitions, in WST 2, as in the SB 1v1 tournament the same thing happened where the screen just turned black and everybody in game just crashes.

Something should be done about these servers or we just shouldn't use them.

Seriously. Don't take it as an American thing because I don't know wtf PsYkO is on about with all this bush league stuff lol

I totally agree that TSP servers should not be included in Ladles. I've never even experienced a seamless round in one of his servers.

I have a similar problem with G5's server. Every 5-7 minutes I have a very small, but debilitating piece of lag. This happened during regular play on his Pro server, and more importantly 2 or 3 times versus Binary in the semi-finals that lead to very untimely deaths. I asked him if restarting it would help the other day, but he said it wouldn't help. It can't just be my main connection since it doesn't happen in other servers, but rather a connection with his in particular, right?

Yeah, I don't know what the problem is then. Could it just be my connection from LA across whatever lines just isn't perfect the way it may be to other servers where I don't experience this?
