Last night, you may have noticed Shrunkland and Bebop in Harlem were down. They are now back up and on a much better hosting server that will not have the ping spikes that the old one had.
The new hosting server is a Xen based server with a 1gbit (1000mbit) connection to the internet. Other Game Servers that I have run on it have been very well performing. I have waited quite some time to move these to gems of servers until I knew that the server I would move them to would be a superior one.

Next orders of business:

1) Redo the AI player names as I neglected to back them up.

2) Edit english_base.txt a bit.

3) Work up and finalize "Team Bebop in Harlem" and a variation of Shrunkland that will mimic the original in 0.2.7.0. (Each will be temporarily swapped in on the same respective servers for a period now and then, just whenever I feel like it.

Or, you all can also ask me to /include them while in-game.)

4) Finish up my "History of Shrunkland" and post it (about 3/4 done), along with an elucidation of "server guidelines" (something I've been meaning to do since I got back in this).

Then, eventually, once all that is finally buttoned down, we'll get working on that Armagoshdarn 'redux' we've been promising.

Am finishing the move today. I have rented my own "cloud" from gigenet http://www.gigenetcloud.com/. I am setting up a server that will host most of my servers, including Shrunkland and Bebop in Harlem.

Hey folks, we're up and running again, now in Kansas. I suppose the location appropriately compliments the flat arena floor, although lacking the wide-open spaces. Har.

Too bad it isn't Kansas City, MO, what with the jazz connection. KC Jazz being a transitional style between big band swing and bebop. Hometown of Charlie Parker, who then moved to Harlem where he was a key figure in creating bebop.
