I had smoke and fire inside my computer once. The power supply went bad and sparks flew out of it. Everything in the computer was fried except the network card and the 3.5" floppy drive (and I had extra network cards too, boo!) Total loss.

Or people, or tanks, lightcycles etc Maybe the smoke etc are new programs. It's obvious that clouds are a program, have you never heard of cloud computing duuuuur.

The original movie is a bit hard too swallow, and it was OK. So lets give it a chance...then when we have seen it we'll know that it was sh*t.

I'm actually kinda digging what I see. It's the obvious, tried and true heroic journey, but it looks more Dark Knight than Watchmen, what with the motor/light cycle love.
I especially like the little clip where Tron (gold suit anyway, I think its Tron) rises onto the grid with 4 teammates. Reminds of a Fortress team coming into the server in Ladle semifinal.

I dunno Concord... it looks like Clu. But, as we all know, Clu was derezzed in the first movie. So maybe Clu 2.0? One can only speculate until we get more information.

And WHERE IN THE HELL IS TRON in all this mess? What happened to him? Maybe they'll touch up on that in the near future. One could only hope.

there's some strange mistake with the dates

A new vehicle called a Lightjet will appear in the movie. They will have jetwalls too. There will be a battle against lightcycles and lightjets and a big disk battle scene.
