Probleme with Deathzones

Hey. so im trying to setup a server so im trying out maps, and when i try out racing maps, the death zones and the win zone dont do anything. I asked a friend and looked on the wiki part of armagetronad.net, and couldn't find anything. I would be really gratfull for anyone that can help me.

hi man, normally (from experience) these types of maps which u find on beta.armagetronad can sometimes have settings in built (it normally says on the page below the map), this is the most likely reason.

actually i believe this was a bug with 0.3 that i reported, essentially if the maps do no have the point 0,0 in them zones do not work. it has been fixed though. Just my guess from the problem you described, I'm assuming you are using an alpha 0.3 version of tron that was made before this fix was committed.

yes im using 0.3 so do u think that i should redownload it or i should use an older version of tron?

good shout, i never did use a 0.3 build with unusual maps. the linux versions had the bug 2? clumsy r u hostin on win?

some did the ones after zones v2 and v1 were merged in and before the bug was fixed. it affected all OS's and both client and server
