Weird Conversation

Was sitting in Shrunkland earlier when someone came in and the following conversation ensued, beginning to end. Names have been changed to protect this player—this is not a flame post, and I hope you all don't let it degenerate into that. I just found this silly. I also chopped up and edited together the screenshots so as to save space. Of course, this way you don't get the suspense of the time between his messages, but just imagine them.

Delicious Desserts was a clan/group of servers that DarkChaos designed the maps for and PinkTomato did the scripting for the servers. PinkTomato is still around, doing some scripting etc. If anyone is looking for PinkTomato, Pink is sometimes on the #armagetron IRC channel on freenode.

Yeah, hrm, to reiterate, I wasn't intending to make fun of or put down the guy. And there's certainly nothing to "get over." It was merely one of those amusingly strange conversations. I suppose I should have also mentioned I was playing under an unrecognizable alias. If I was using 'Phytotron' then one might explain it as, well, he's seen that name on the forums and maybe naively thought you knew something. But that I was, from his perspective, a completely random unknown player whom he decided to come ask all that of—I just sat there with a cocked eyebrow and half-grin. Oh well. Too bad I had to explain that.
