Making a new cycle Bit help here :>

well im starting to make my own moviepack and stuff need the blender still but all i got atm is the lil sketch
:D i was wondering if you guys can help me a little with how i can do this, like if i need any other programs or things w/e to use this in armagetron.
well w/e this is wat i got.


As same in map making im new to this lol
(EDIT) yeah got the cycle blend file but what do i do now(scroll down to see) a bit different from the sketch but ehh i did the best i could for now.

Well of course you're going to need Blender or some other 3D modeling software. You'll also need some kind of image editor that allows you to make transparent PNGs (Photoshop or GIMP would do, maybe some others if you look around).

Search and read every thread on this forum that has to do with Blender, cycle models, exporting, textures... You get the hint. Maybe you can start by reading my first model thread.

Remember, if you don't have any 3D modeling experience, and no graphical experience, this will probably be a nightmare for you. There is a lot you'll need to learn, and everyone here is a volunteer, so you probably won't be able to get someone to walk you through the whole thing. Have patience and good luck.

Lol... dont worry ive done stuff like this once and thanks but i dont know if i can get photoshop cuz its a pain to buy that crap just for this lol cant i use another program like Corel paint shop pro X ?

All the Corel products are top-notch. I've used them for years at home and professionally. It's the most underrated graphics suite ever. Corel Paint Shop Pro is fine for this kind of work.

hehe, can anybody teach me at blender? Im a noob at it oO and wiki isnt my friend. I tried it some times to create a bike, but there was a problem: How to use it?

well i made the bike with blend made it a bit different from the sketch cuz im new and stuff :] so what do i do now? anything else to add?

You're next step it to learn about UV-face, so you can skin it with a PNG. After that, you need to export it as cycle.ASE and get it into a moviepack so you can test it in-game.

Looking good so far. Keep up the hard work (the easy part is done).
