tournament with allotted teams

what do you think about an tournament, just like the ladles, but with allotted teams?

everyone who wants to play should signup for his/herself and then teams will be allotted. so that that there aren't alwas the same teams (clans) fighting each other like they do in the ladle, you know?
what do you think about that? please comment

I doubt if finding servers will be a problem. If you stick with Ladle settings, anybody who donates servers to the ladle, like myself, would happily do so.

I still think you just ought to revive the Fortress Brawl. For one thing, any of us that participated in the first Fortress Brawl will be immediately drawn to it. If you're curious, I can pm you the list of participants from the first one. I made a copy for historical purposes. Fortress Brawl was the first Fortress Tournament that I participated in. The original intent of the Fortress Brawl Tournament was to bring people out who had never played in any sort of Fortress Tournament before. Shortly after, I became a member of the Wild West Clan! The training that I received from GoodyGumDrops and SageLord was absolutely invaluable.

Kind of. I hate to be "that guy", but I have to point out the actual reason for the Fortress Brawl.

Have you ever wanted to play a more evenly matched fortress game? Have you ever wanted to play fortress competitively, but never wanted to join a team? Have you ever wanted to learn how to play fortress and learn from the best?
