Moviepacks on Macintosh

I would just like to know how to install moviepacks on a Macintosh computer... Or at least see where all the directories for AA are. Help?

But there are no directories or folders... All I have is the actual application.

I'm pretty sure that should be a ctrl-click (or right-click or gear menu).

It's kinda annoying how games where you were 'meant' to replace resources require you to do that. And if they didn't, they wouldn't be a nice app bundle. Oh well.

Can't you just also put your custom data in the user data folder in ~/ on the Mac?

Actually it seems you can. ~/Library/Application Support/Armagetron Advanced/moviepack or s/moviepack/whatever. But getting there takes a while as well, probably longer because there tend to be a lot of files around there, and Library is rarely visited by most users.

Thanks for the correction. I use a MAC at work and a PC at home, so I screw that up all the time. You'd think after 12 years I'd get the hang of it, but no.

Use “~/Library/Application Support/Armagetron Advanced”. That way when you upgrade the game, you don't have to migrate everything to the new application.
