Ok, now that I, with sine.wav's inspiration, have picked out a new name.

Let's discuss the details of this Tournament.

The tourney would be held Bi-monthly, the Second Sunday of the month, starting April 12, 2009. It would be Two teams of Four people in a Fortress server. Possible settings would be ladle settings, or the old FFF settings.

I am leaning toward Ladle settings, for two reasons. IMHO, the idea behind this tourney is partly to enable clans/teams to start a new team of 4 players, where they do not have 6. Therefore, getting them used to ladle settings might be a good idea, if this is to feed teams/clans into the ladle. Also, there are many servers that are setup with ladle settings. If there is a ton of interest in this, it would be very easy for tourney admins to just go into an existing ladle server and lower the team size to 4 and restore it back to normal after the tourney was over.

What happened to the four teams/zones idea? That's the one I really liked.

I don't have a preference to settings. Isn't the big argument about ladle settings just 2v2 conquerable? Or is hole score in that discussion too? It seems like with 4v4, 2v2 should be conquerable.

As far as i'm concerned 4v4 is kind of small. The reason I at least thought the 4v4v4v4 was a good idea is because it has small enough teams to not lag incredibly, while keeping the grid busy enough for an interesting game.

Destruktion is a standard colloquial spelling...I thought it conveyed something creative...none of this is set in stone..yet!
