Matado Core <talking board>

Post by hoop »

heiii anybody there?
ok here is the situation (bad)
We all know we need some practice as a team.
Emails suck for that purpose (already tested): that's why I've asked you all (missed someone maybe) to be reachable on irc, but I usually see at most 4,5 mates... so, here is the plan:
Everyday from 5 pm GMT to 9 pm GMT I will almost certainly be connected in #matado_core channel @irc.freenode.net
We will meet there and if we are enough I will ask for available servers where to go practice (alone or against others).
Remember: not ONLY me is supposed to organize things, so if you are member of this team, please do something to help your team to be good.
See you ;)
Of course if any other clan/team is intersted playing friendly matches against us, this is the right place where to talk about that

I finally joined the 21st century and installed an IRC client. I'll be sure to join the MC channel; but not today because I'm busy all day. Tomorrow I'll play for sure. Good idea hoop.

Oh, I use Trillian basic for IRC and it crashes a lot. Can anyone suggest a better IRC client? In a PM please, let's leave this thread for team stuff.

xchat for windows and maybe other OSs that are not linux, is only a 30 day trial if you get it from the main site. Get it from www.silverex.org , which is a free build (yes, it is totally legal and free).

If you don't want xchat (although I would recommend it too), then there is mirc for Windows, or Colloquy for Mac OS X.

Actually, installing an irc client is more like stepping into a retro-80s dance club.

/me actually spent time in dance clubs in the 80's. I don't ever want to go back to that.

And thanks guys. I seemed to have solved the problem with Trillian crashing, so I'll just stick with that until my needs change.
