Actually, the avatar is from the Japanese TV show "fullmetal Alchemist". Its a very cool show and is currently the most popular animated series airing in that country. No, not a violent POS like dbz, and no, not sexually oriented. Its a thinkers anime - the show just rocks. The manga has recently been licenced in the US so hopefully I'll be able to buy DVD's one day...

Anyone who also digs pinball can't be bad.

Interested? - Check out Visual Pinball , you can play (for free) real existing machines and user made tables (by anthias). VP is an pinball emulator/editor running over another program called PinMAME.
Be ready for an involved installation process though. READ, use and follow the install guides to the tee. You must also DL tables and some roms for various tables. Frontends (game lanchers) are available too.
A lot of work at first, but well worth it.

Thanks also for the VP plug - its a great gaming system that has given me not just hours but bucketloads of "lost time" that I have enjoyed immensely. With the dedicated and prolific core of table authors churning out both astonishing recreations of REAL tables, as well as original creations, such as the ones by myself, There is really no end to the fun to be had.

Well, I'm gunna go see if my ping rate is back to normal and maybe try for a few places on the survivor rank!

(my ping rate when I jumped in earlier was 4500! I trhink that is simply amazing, for a 512kdsl connection)

Not unusua,l I think... would be for a LAN, but for internet play... It happens...
