sounds like the kind of thing we only see in films...

i believe the only way player organised tournaments
or any non-centralised form of organisation can occur
is when the players respect one another

this should be the case within any single team
the nomination of a trusted and respected captain should thus be unproblematic

then
the organisation of matches
may be conducted respectfully by such trusted captains

players should be encouraged to direct their competitive spirit
towards other players in opponent teams
at the level of the game on the grid
and not at the level of the organisation of the game

i don't mind players shouting and screaming and abusing one another
while in the thick of it
i just think it is misplaced when we are starting up the match...
