I can't set myself as ingame server admin! Please help!

WAHHH i tryed Server_admin pass (password i use) and Admin TiTnAsS and Server_admin TiTnAsS but none of em worked...how do i set myself to server admin?

Have you read the bit here about in game admin?

ADMIN_PASS -> In game admin password.

In game admin information:
How in game admin works is in your chat line you type "password command parameters". Minus, the " of course. Here are the commands then:
say <something to say>
Does what you think it does
cm <something to say>
Center Message
com <something to say>
Console Message
ul
User List with IDs,
ku <ID>
Kick User with following ID

I tryed that all....i still can't get it to work. I put "admin_pass (password)" in the settings, then tryed password_command_parameter (password) in the consol but it still didn't work. Anything im doing wrong?

I also tryed that. Did i do somthing wrong with admin_pass in the folder? Bcuz i tryed the password_command_parameters (password) in chat line to and nothing happened.

are you typing it with underscores? here's an example line:
cheese ku 3

Well it dosnt work for me..dunno why... I'm on 2.7... Can you tell me exactly what to put in the file (as in admin_pass) w/e then how to get it to work in the in game admin...use an example password .....mabye "TANK" for instance. Sorry if i seem like a bother but i've been trying for days and can't get it to work.

yeah ive had no luck with the admin thing on 2.7

1st in console I typed
admin_pass coffeecup

then in chat I typed
coffeecup ul (or was it lu ?)

nothing just displays the line as normal chat without listing users
what am I doing wrong

I've only gotten it to work by putting the ADMIN_PASS directive in my everytime.cfg file. If I just put it in the normal settings.cfg and/or settings_dedicated.cfg, no go. But when I put it in everytime.cfg, works fine.

ADMIN_PASS TANK

In settings.cfg should work. I have it placed after MAX_CLIENTS. Then in game I just do 'TANK ku 3' in the chat line. Although, you might want to try with an all lower case password, as I don't ever recall trying with upper case... Could be a weird bug. Also, sticking color codes or using passwords with '0x' could have adverse effects.

(Note: my password is NOT 'TANK' in any case, but I in place as mentioned have a lower case password. 'TANK' is simply used for the shake of an example.)

I have it in the everytime settings. But it still wont work.
