Would one of you french guys (or someone who lives reasonably close) take some pictures and post of this:

Please? Pretty please? I looked and looked but couldn't actually find any.

Warning, flash link!

For Christmass I'll fly closer to the bridge. From Stockholm to Paris actually. But I dont think any picture I could take would be on interest at that distance. ;)

Instead check:

Ok, yes I do KNOW its in swedish. the title of the article is "Chirac invigde fransk rekordbro". Not so far under the title, you will see a link "Se grafik". In the printed edition, there was a nice pic and a graphic. I cant confirm what that link will give you because it requires Flash. Hopefully you have it and will enjoy the pics.

I would suggest checking the big french papers. "Le Monde" and "Le Figaro" comes to mind.

lol. Check the french papers, I hadn't even thought of that. :)

Edit: I'll do it when I'm more awake. I can read French better than this, but I'm too sleepy to get it. :( I'll post back when I find some good pictures, 'cause that bridge looks really awesome.

Hehe

Dutch did it from necessity, to put houses on it.

Canadian did it for fun. There is a amusement park, a formula 1 racing track (the only one in Canada) and a Casino on it.

Go Canada go!
