Actually, for a new clan with nobody with a clue in web programming, there are pre-made community sites. Try http://ag2.avidgamers.com/ . You can add your own texts, manage your clan rooster, you get a forum, all for free.

http://www.bravenet.com is a good site for beginners in web development. (and message boards too)

If you want to actually learn the HTML code itself (for future reference or just to understand what is happening behind the scenes), I would reccomend starting with http://www.pagetutor.com or W3Schools (Google it).

I suggest you start with the clan. Find fellow-players on the grid to form one. You'll for sure be disliked by many players for advertising though.

Have a look at http://armagetron.co.uk. Check the forum. If you like it there, you could ask Angel for a subforum. No promises here, she might say no, but there are a couple of subforums already.
