The master servers all listen on port 4533, and the game servers port 4534 and up. JDawg may only have port 4533 blocked somehow.
To test whether someone can connect, post your current IP (again from www.whatismyip.com ) and the port your server is running on here, then fire up the server and leave it running for at least two hours, the more, the better. Someone reading your post will try to custom connect to it then. Also post when you stop the server.

Preferably something z-man can recognize as being hosted by you, if the name is known and logged by the master server even if it can't find you. And post your IP address as reported by http://www.whatismyip.com/ at the time of hosting.
