I now know that he wasn't scheduled there, but on goshdarn he asked where the tournament was held and me, not knowing he wasn't scheduled, said it was on the freefall server (because i saw 7 ppl in there (i could see it before) a bit earlier and i knew from most of them that they were in the tournament). He later came back saying that he couldn't find it. Anyway, thank you for giving up your bandwidth for our pleasure, i did enjoy the game.

I just talked with Tank, and it looks likes I'll be the fourth member of Tron Tigers, team 2 (there's some talk about us playing tonight, Sunday 1GMT).
Tank found me on Armagoshdarn this morning, looking for a replacement for a late player, so I volunteered. Thanks for letting me play!
see you on the grid!

n54, you are feeling tired, your eyes are starting to close, you are soothed by the sound of my voice, you will no longer show up for tournaments, you will fall asleep and oversleep, sleeping through the tournaments.n54 wrote:i've seen subby and he knows
if we're too many i volunteer to leave as i'm getting a bit drowsy
subby, ditto. lol

actually i don't think you need me that badly, i'm not changing teams though
you have subby and yaza and chills and seeker and you and *i forgot someone but don't remember who* - the teamwork in our first match today went really smooth. and i want to point out that the mvp bit is after all kinda coincidental, depends a lot on where you start (which position) and where you end up in the flow of things (like today i started a lot on the outer right and almost all the time got 2 "targets" that often went down like in half a minute because they became fairly easily and quickly trapped - until they changed their tactics of course)
for example it is usually much harder to start in the middle position (yaza started there but was one of the ones mentioned below <-- better than i did in the middle position after the game)
we should remember how flawed the scoring system is in normal games (how points "change hands" etc). marrows (& tanks ?) fix on no points for teammates helps a lot of course but still... not that i think it's much we can do about it - perhaps in the long run
& btw at least during the first quarter/half of the game there were like 3-4 (me included) who had like 18 pts each (both teams represented)

because of late changes to the schedule team loco had no idea tehy were playing and neither did i frankly at 1 gmt sunday so there was no second game, marrow says loco forfeits but i dont think thats fair because they had no way of knowing. i know it said check the touney schedule often but what if they made other plans or whatever, they didnt think they wee playing i think a new match should be set up.
I can understand the concerns you have voiced and admitedly it was short notice. I'm sure something will be worked out.RUDEBOY! wrote:because of late changes to the schedule team loco had no idea tehy were playing and neither did i frankly at 1 gmt sunday so there was no second game, marrow says loco forfeits but i dont think thats fair because they had no way of knowing. i know it said check the touney schedule often but what if they made other plans or whatever, they didnt think they wee playing i think a new match should be set up.
