I wish I had of been here for the start of this! Ah well, I did predict the French not making it past the groups stages along with Italy, I also knew england would be smashed but i thought it was going to be 5-2 instead of 4-1. I predicted Spain to win the tournament and Holland to be the darkhorse.

USA was better than England in the end. Too bad Ghana starts to waste time in the 70th minute. USA v Germany would've been much better.

Note that because of the way the bracket is, if you say a team in a certain group will be in position 1 instead of 2 or vice versa, the only spot you can possibly get points for that team is if they win and you also chose them as winner. (sorry if this is confusing, if you don't understand I'll clarify)

Could you please clarify this? I know of my 11 picks to be in the top 16 they were all ordered correctly (1 or 2) but I'm not sure about the other people's and I don't know if Tit's been scoring according to this rule or not (I haven't analyzed the thread enough, sorry).

With this two day hiatus in the cup I have nothing to do and less to talk about so I'll ask a question. Who do you think has been the biggest disappointment in the cup so far? No criteria for this.

For me, from a neutral perspective, it's Nigeria. They could play with Argentina, they completely blew it against S. Korea, and they shot themselves in the foot with Greece. Even at 10 men they should have won. I thought they were the best team not to progress.

To me, my country the Netherlands has been dissapointing so far. They talk about winning the cup but the skill theyve showed so far isn't good enough for that, sure, theyve won consistently... but not against great times. I think we will lose against Brazil if we don't step it up.

I'll post a video of me eating my socks if they win Friday.
