Yea that question arose the last time we had EVA. We had an American that was living in Europe that was potentially going to participate. We decided to keep it so that you represent where you are, not your nationality. Since matches are played both on Euro & US servers i thought it wasn't fair if we had some players based in Europe when we played in a Euro server and they didn't have any Euro players based in the US. Also it may get kinda ugly if people in the US started saying their parents originally came from Euro or they have dual citizenship or whatever...
