Bah, I see exactly the same issue with the final, when using 0.2.8.2.1.
Could it be the fact that the recording was produced on another OS? Since I think 2020 uses OS X too...
Yes. While usually not a problem, recordings are in theory very fragile by nature. Change a single library, switch your compiler or US, change one line of source code, pick different compiler options, and recordings may break.
/me points yet again to the protobuf stuff which should make it easy to create a Python client from scratch that both acts as a dumb proxy and network recorder.
I'm using 0.3.0.5558 (Yes I know it's old!) Recordings back in Ladle 16/17 worked (I think.) But with the recordings Z-Man posted, just seems to join an empty server and disconnect after a few seconds. Just thought I'd share this.
Didn't do anything spectacular, so I'm not bothered.
I just wanted to say this Ladle was a great time for me. Was it really 14 teams? Wow. I was very happy for MAX_CLIENTS 32 so I could watch the final match.
Even with all the argumentative discussions of seeding, rules, and time changes, we all came together and had a great time. Let's keep it up!

No we didn't.
Neither teams were able to round up enough players to do a 3rd place match. (For example the only TR players i found online after the game was me, JJbean, and Durka.)

Just curious was 3rd place match even in the schedule? I didn't see it on the challenge board....
